Old L33TSig2
From L33TSig Wiki
L33TSig 2 is a complete rewrite of the original client by Matthew Hipkin. The original (L33TSig) was by Fr3d. The new client is written in Pascal, and introduces several new features, the biggest being the new plugin system.
L33TSig 2 is currently in BETA Testing. This period should ensure that the final release is bug-free.
I have moved fixed bugs and wishes that have been added to the ChangeLog page, other bugs have been cleaned up. -- Fr3d

Writing Plugins
If you want to write your own plugin, you can do so using either a JavaScript file, a Visual Basic Script (VBS) file, or a non-ActiveX DLL. More information is available on the Writing Plugins page.
Bugs
Fr3d
- Memory leaks (no plugins loaded)
- Re-testing with 2.0.4, will post results if and when it leaks!
- Update: OK, it's not leaking, but does randomly stop working/responding :-(
- Edit: It does leak, just less often.
- Random crashes: How about some extreme debug logging? :D - I am going to do this, BIG TIME! Before I fix anything else on here, this app needs some "extreme debug logging" :P -- Hippy
- "I/O error 103." after viewing settings and clicking OK on 2.0.4. - Is this on Vista? I get an I/O error 103 when I attempt to run L33TSig on Vista from another drive due to security settings in Vista
PJ
When I L33TSig2 starts up (with windows starts up), I get the following
I click ok, and this comes up
I click ok, and then the main page is up
I then click ok or close, I forget what i do and then this
So I decided to look at what lines I go up and its all seems ok (apart from my hdd space, 600+GB total, but it says 180GB!)
I close that, to check my plugins
and nothing is open, but then I get the error again
Hippy
- TODO: More configuration options, including tray icon style (old and new) and Minimise on startup
- Seems to be a problem in Windows Vista relating to the L33TSig Avatar, L33TSig is unable to get the CPU load from the WMI.
- I have the same problem on Vista, so I guess this confirms it -- Fr3d
Knuckles
- Local Time keeps showing 1 hour behind GMT.
- This could be a site bug: I'll check it -- Fr3d
- This error: Image:L33TSig2_BETA_Bug.jpg
- I need to know the steps you took so I can replicate this one -- Hippy

- Network plugin is just plain dead constantly displays 0.00Mb.
- Uptime is wrongly displayed with days mentioned twice and the words "AM".
- Client does not update after the computer has been in hibernation. Need to close and re-open client.
- Got this error once running L33TSig 2.0.4 and entering all the information and then clicking OK. L33TSig continues to run fine in the background: Image:errordec.JPG
- Can't prove this one but ever since I have installed 2.0.4 beta on desktop and now it won't shutdown / restart.
- Confirmed this one when you try and shutdown with l33tsig opened Windows just continues like its never been asked. Close l33tsig and try again and yay it works. This is a serious bug and hopefully is fixed soon. - Declan
- Lines repeat themselves 4 times.
- The [monitor] variable tag doesn't work in the latest BETA.
JerWA
- Avatar HDD information is showing percent free, rather than percent used: Image:Jerwaav.png
- Problems with the TM sign (™, ALT+0153) - this is a problem with PHP and GD, not the client -- Fr3d
- (WinXP & 2.0.3) Doesn't exit when requested to for a shutdown/restart
- (WinXP & 2.0.4) Client opens and configures fine, but any time it updates (including manually) I get this error: Image:L33tsig204error.png. Clean install, and running with a single "Custom Text" line makes no difference. Sig shows me as offline. Rebooting had no effect.
- The sig shows you as offline probably because you have an offline message set. You'll have to let Hippy figure out what is causing the error though. -- Fr3d
- 2.0.4 should be creating some log files, see if they exist -- Hippy
- debug.log is the only log present, and it doesn't have any errors mentioned? Below is the contents of my debug.log, showing starting l33tsig 2 (not changing anything) and telling it to update which spits out the floating point error. Edit: Nothing in any event logs either. The application itself stays running, it just never sends any info to the server so the sig always shows me offline. -- JerWA

- Preview window height should be increased to show all 7 lines, so no scrolling is needed
- Make it use C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\L33TSig2\ (Vista) or C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\L33TSig2\ (2K/XP/2K3) to store the l33t.ini file - this should prevent the I/O error and make it possible to use it for more than one user on the PC.
PJ
- Hide/Minimize to Systray on startup.
- Plugin maybe?: Count the time / length a particular app has been open
- Proxy option, College is ghey and I need to use a proxy at college.
Hippy
- Add client option to enable sending of Avatar info
Knuckles
- Mb to Gb in network plugin

- Stop using Wiki to track bugs. Me dons't like at all :(
- Need to get images showing on the page like before instead of having to click links. Makes the page look messy and makes our jobs harder.
- Some sort of battery status/percent plugin would be cool. =D
- 64 bit OS detection. Escpecially in Vista.
